It's the leaning tower of Pisa!

  We took a short 45 min train ride from Florence  to Pisa to see the leaning tower. The town of Pisa itself is actually not that pleasing to the eye. Once you get off the train, it's a bit confusing on where to go next, but we navigated our way.
Once we arrived, our mouths dropped! I never expected the tower to be so large and beautiful. There are lots of touristy shops along the walk up with Pinocchio and Pisa souveniers that we overlooked. At the time we went, the tower was open for walks up, but having had such a bad experience walking up the Duomo in Florence, we opted to only take pictures from the outside of the beautiful tower.
Pisa is definitely worth the day trip!
